Six months ago, I fell in love with hiking with my dog. It provides a great workout for me and my dog. But hiking places usually don’t have cellular networks and my Tractive doesn’t work.
I searched Google for dog trackers available in areas without cellular signals. I saw an article on the Aorkuler product. It works the same as the Garmin dog tracker. But it is smaller and cheaper than the Garmin.
I purchased the Aorkuler Dog GPS Tracker after research. Some of the reviews reflect good after sales service and it doesn’t require a subscription so if it doesn’t work well I think it should be easy to return it.
After receiving the shipment, I fully charged the Aorkuler tracker and controller. I was ready to test this product on a hike a week later.
The day to go hiking soon arrived and I couldn’t wait to see how useful the Aorkuler dog tracker would be. My dog loves to chase wildlife and he will run away during the hike. So, I can use this product to find him.
After an hour of hiking, unsurprisingly my dog ran towards the wildlife. I pulled out the controller to check my dog’s location. The controller’s screen kept showing nearby. Yes, I could see that my dog was still around me.
When the dog disappeared from my sight, the controller’s screen showed a GPS update. After about a minute I saw the direction and distance of my dog on the screen.
I eased forward while watching the direction of the controller. The dog kept moving and the distance on the screen was getting farther and farther away. I was starting to get a little worried about the dog, it was our first time in this area and I was afraid he would get lost.
I chased after him in his direction until about ten minutes later I finally caught up with my dog.
This test of the Aorkuler dog tracker’s real-time tracking feature was a success. I found my dog based on the location information transmitted by the Aorkuler tracker.
And to my satisfaction, I was able to easily locate my dog in an unfamiliar suburb.
When I used to use Tractive dog trackers, I always got lost when looking at maps in unfamiliar environments and it took me twice as long to find my dog each time. Assuming, of course, that there was cell phone reception.
I used the Aorkuler dog tracker many times over the next few days. It really is the best real time dog tracker without subscription.
Only once when I used it in the forest, it was not accurate. I searched online for the reason and it was caused by GPS drift. When we use GPS products in places like tall buildings, dense forests, etc., the GPS signal gets blocked.
I decided not to return the Aorkuler best dog tracker. After purchasing this product, I don’t have to keep my eyes on my dog all the time during my hike. I could enjoy the freedom of hiking with my dog.
Whenever I had questions, they were quick to respond to my emails and continued to follow up and care about my usage. This is the first time I have come across a dog tracker brand with such good customer service.
I really like the Aorkuler dog tracker and its staff. I think it’s a product worth recommending. If there are any dog parents out there who enjoy hiking with their dogs as much as I do, I recommend you purchase an Aorkuler GPS tracker to keep your dog safe.
